Our Story

In a true modern-day romance, Scott and Alexa first met online in September of 2017. Scott was based at Fort Campbell, on the Kentucky-Tennessee border. He was finishing his contract with the Army in just a couple of months and returning to his home state of Massachusetts. In the years leading up to 2017, Alexa had graduated from the University of New England with a degree in Marine Biology in 2015 and had landed herself in Massachusetts. After finishing her internship on Cape Cod with the International Fund for Animal Welfare, Alexa accepted a job at Tufts University in 2016, and relocated more permanently to Massachusetts. Just a year and a half later, Scott and Alexa began talking. They spent almost 2 months talking, and texting before Scott returned home to Massachusetts, and they had their first date. They met at J. Anthony’s Italian Grill. Alexa was incredibly nervous, but boldly ordered a burger, while Scott had the chicken parmesan sandwich. From that day forward, they were inseparable. They proceeded to have their second date at a Barnes and Noble, and Michael's craft store (truly fitting in Alexa’s mind, as aside from Scott, her heart belongs only to the ocean and crafts). They went to their first Bruins game together on December 9, 2017, which was also Alexa’s first Bruins game ever. Though when it comes to football, their allegiances differ, with Alexa cheering for the Patriots and Scott for the Saints (Who Dat!), they make it work. After leaving the Army, Scott went back to school for HVAC, and followed it up with an automotive program. Scott now works as a mechanic at a local automotive shop, while Alexa continues her time at Tufts conducting research. The light of their lives is their cat, Reilly Brees, a spunky rescue floof that their best guess is a Maine Coon. Alexa and Scott are beyond excited for their wedding and thrilled to have those they love all in one place to celebrate their love and their life together as husband and wife!

Alexa and Brooke have known each other since 1st grade! ~24 yrs for those counting!!
Fast Facts: 
Brooke is a lover of Bruins Hockey, getting outdoors with her adorable Australian Shepard, Clyde, and spending time with friends/family.  Brooke is one of the most compassionate and caring people you could ever meet!

Favorite Drink(s): Wine and tequila

Alexa and Lindy met during coed non-contact lacrosse over 19 years ago! 
Fast Facts: Lindy loves running and eating. She is the proud dog mom of her yellow lab, Puddle. Lindy has a sixth sense when it comes to her friends and always knows the perfect time to check in and always has the best advice!

Favorite Drink(s): Stouts and porters

Taylor and Alexa originally met over 10 years ago, in an english class freshman year of college. 

Fast Facts:  Taylor is the mother of the sweetest two (almost 3!) year old. She is an increbibly talented cook and a sucker for all things wedding related! Taylor has the best sense of humor, is strong (in every sense of the word) and is incredibly thoughtful to all those around her!

Favorite Drink(s): Wine and coffee

Alexa and Nikki met coming up on 5 years ago through the Groom and Alexa could not be more excited to have her as a sister!

Fast Facts: Nikki loves crafts, sea turtles, the beach, casinos and hates snakes. Nikki is also a great cook and makes a delicious sangria! Nikki will always keep you honest and is the true life of the party!

Favorite Drink(s): Tito’s, white claws, champagne, ginger ale and water.

Alexa and Kerri met in July 2017 at a Sam Hunt concert when Alexa's brother, Ryan introduced Kerri to Alexa as his girlfriend. Ryan and Kerri had been dating just a few months at that point!

Fast Facts: Kerri loves the beach, reading her kindle, reality TV, hallmark Christmas movies and puzzles. She loves going for walks anywhere near the water to get some fresh air and she is not a huge fan of bugs and olives. Kerri is incredibly patient, kind and thoughtful!

Favorite Drink(s): Margaritas, wine (red and white) and water

Scott and Nate met in 2014. Nate was the first guy Scott met in his Army Unit, Delta Company 1-26. Scott and Nate were neighbors in the barracks and first hung out at a motocross event in Nashville. Scott and Nate spent a lot of their free time playing video games and watching countless sporting events.

Fast Facts: Nate is married to his wife, Nicole and has two incredibly strong little boys. He is originally from Minnesota and cheers for the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Wild. He is also a big fan of the NDSU Bison.

Mark and Scott have known each other since elementary school. They both love football. Growing up, they often pulled all-nighters playing Madden video games and drummed up trouble together, in machine shop, in school. Mark would often host bonfires at his house, where Scott was known to jump the pit a time or two. 

Fast Facts: Mark is a proud dog dad to his golden retriever, Tug. He is a long time Denver Broncos fan. His favorite alcoholic beverage is Long Island Ice Tea. His favorite non-alcoholic beverage is Arnold Palmer.

Mike and Scott met in elementary school. Scott used to go camping with Mike and and his family, and the two loved to play airsoft and video games. In high school, they would often go off-roading in Scott's Chevy Blazer after school and on the weekends.

Fast Facts: Mike enjoys PC gaming and has a talent of identifying movie lines. Mike's favorite alcoholic beverage is Budweiser and non-alcoholic is Pepsi.

Ryan and Scott were first introduced in March 2018 at Tuckaway Tavern resturant in NH. Alexa and Ryan's parents, along with Ryan and his girlfriend, Kerri, arranged a surprise fun-filled day to meet Scott for the first time. They all talked and laughed over lunch and spent the remainder of the day at Folsoms Maple Sugaring Shack.  

Fast Facts: Ryan is the brother of the bride. Ryan favorite alcoholic beverage is Samuel Adams Wicked Hazy IPA. His favorite non-alcoholic beverage is hot cocoa. He and Alexa often reference and quote The Office and Tommy Boy together. He has a true passion for aviation.

The most popular and well known beach in the Lakes Region, Weirs Beach lies in the northern corner of Laconia on Lake Winnipesaukee.  It’s not just a beach but a focal point of activities, recreation, and where many attractions are located.  Next to the beach along Lakeside Ave lies the boardwalk.  Rebuilt in 2010, the boardwalk is over 1300 feet long and offers amazing views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Ossipee mountains.
