Hi everyone, it's Alexa! This is the story of how our love story began:

Michael and I both downloaded the dating app, Hinge in the summer of 2021. Michael's profile came across my feed and I decided to be bold and message him first! Of course Michael had a prompt of "I want someone who will go to the gym with me at 4:00 A.M." I wanted to get his attention and I messaged him "When are we going?" (Keep in mind I have never lifted a weight in my entire life). I was relieved when Michael messaged me the next day and he asked me out on a non-gym related date. Our first date was on 9/24/2021 at Rhum in Patchogue. We got Margaritas of course and we talked for hours. When I got home from our first date, I walked through my front door and my mom was standing there and I told her "I met my husband tonight". Michael and I began to go on dates all throughout the month of September and October. Our third date is very special to us because Michael took me out east to visit a few breweries and get lunch together at a restaurant named Windamere. This was the first time Michael and I spent the entire day together. Later on in our relationship Michael told me this was the date that Michael fell in love with me. At the end of the month on October 22nd, 2021 Michael took me out to dinner at Ruvo in Port Jefferson, Michael officially asked me to be his girlfriend. It was the best day ever. Fast forward to two years later, on September 23rd, 2023 Michael took me back to Windamere and he asked me to marry him. It was the easiest yes of my life. Michael and I are so excited for many more exciting memories to come.
