Why Frankenmuth?

Frankenmuth is a special place for both the bride and groom. The bride spent a lot of time working as assistant manager at the Tervis store, and she grew up coming here for day trips with family. Their friends got married here, the couple got engaged here, and its a town that they adore.

So, what should we do after the ceremony, before cocktail hour?

Either hangout at the venue, or go explore! Frankenmuth's Downtown is full of charming shops, gorgeous views, and a variety of activities. St. Julian Winery, Frankenmuth Brewery and Grand Traverse Distillery are all nearby and offer alcohol tastings. Frankenmuth Cheese Haus, Willi's Sausage Shop, and Zac and Mac's Fudge Shop are located downtown and you can purchase snacks and more! The Riverplace has a lot of unique shops, quick bite options, and busy sidewalks. Weather permitting, there's also a really nice walking path located along the Cass River.

Its wedding day and I have a question about the venue, ceremony, parking, etc....who do i ask?

Many answers can be found on Google as far as parking, how to get to the venue, etc. Your invitation does have a descriptor of the venue as well, but in the event you need something, please do not reach out to the bride or the groom. Contact our Moms (or dads,) the hostess Colleen (she's the one that looks like she knows what shes doing and has the twins attached to her hip,) or ask one of the maids of honor.

Why don't you want my kids/grandkids to attend?

We would love for them to be here! However, going with no children at our ceremony and reception allows us, as well as you, to be able to let loose and not have to worry about who is watching the kids, where they are at, if they are behaving, etc.

Why can't I bring this person I've been dating for a week that you've never met?

While we think its great that you found someone that you want to bring, we had to provide a number to our venue for seating, and to our caterer for the food prices, and to our bar service to be able to accurately determine how much alcohol we needed to buy. Having established plus ones allows us to be able to make sure we have the right amount of seats, food and drinks for everyone

What kind of food will you be serving?

Lexie is a big fan of knowing the menu before getting to a place or an event, so letting people know what we're having beforehand makes sense so that you can plan accordingly. Catering is through Italia Gardens located in Davison. We will be having a variety of pastas and sauces, baked chicken and potatoes, salad, their homemade bread and garlic butter, and a late night snack!
