It's tough to encapsulate our amazing 6 years+ in a snippet. But here are the highlights!

Senior year at Mizzou, Best Man Dan Jeffries was dating bridesmaid Courtney Jeffries (formerly Nogren!). Among several other friends, Alexa and Courtney lived together and Ryan and Dan lived together.

Halloween 2016: Alexa and her roommates threw a Halloween party which Courtney invited Dan and his friends. Ryan dressed as a lumberjack and tagged along. Once he walked inside, Ryan dialed in on one, Scooby-Doo onesie wearing gal. The (one way) crush began on Halloween.

Occasionally, we hung out among friend groups throughout the year. Ultimately, it was after we graduated, Homecoming 2017, where we ran back into each other and hit it off. We got to know each other throughout the remainder of 2017 and officially began dating at the start of 2018.

We spent 3 years long distance with Ryan in St. Louis and Alexa going from Chicago to Houston to Dallas back to Chicago to a brief stint in St. Louis then to Boston. Covid made Ryan's job remote which opened up the opportunity to join Alexa in Boston.

There is not enough time in a day to explain how great of an experience living in Boston was, as well as all of our adventures throughout New England over the course of 2 years.

In April 2023, Alexa planned a weekend on Nantucket for Ryan's birthday. Ryan tried to flip it around on her by proposing, but she had an inkling. After 5+ years, she was ready to be done with being just "Ryan's girlfriend". She said yes!

Our Boston adventure came to an end in August 2023 as Ryan's job took us to Indianapolis where we now reside. We are thrilled to be close again to our families and friends in St. Louis and Chicago. We can't wait to see you on May 25th, 2024 and beyond!
