Onna and I first met during my freshman year at SVSU, but we really became close during my junior year. She’s an ER nurse at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton and one of those rare friends I can always count on—she’s my ultimate ride-or-die. Onna is incredibly supportive, and whenever we hang out, we never stop chatting and giggling. There’s never a dull moment between us! I’m so excited to see how our friendship continues to grow as we move into the next stages of life. Fun fact: Onna even helped Adam plan the engagement trip to Marquette!

Jenna is my older sister, and we grew especially close during the three years we shared an apartment in college. She’s been my go-to for wedding advice throughout the planning process!

Kayla is my oldest sister. I used to think Paisley, the pug in the picture, was wild—until Murphy, Jenna's dog, showed up!

Abby is Adam’s only sibling, and despite living in Washington, we all stay closely connected through FaceTime. I really admire her courage and boldness in moving across the country—it’s truly inspiring!

Lynsey and I crossed paths two years ago when she transferred from GVSU to SVSU, joining the distance running team. We logged countless miles together, and she was my go-to for those tough runs—the ones where you didn’t feel like lacing up or the grueling workouts that seemed impossible to finish. Now, we’ve traded running shoes for heals at our “big girl” jobs, navigating the challenges of adulting together.

Lynsey and I met through a mutual friend, and I’m so grateful we became friends. She’s a dedicated RN at Corewell Health and the kind of friend who’s always there, no matter what. Her warmth and positive energy light up every room she steps into.

I met Lex during my junior year of college when she joined the cross country and track teams. We quickly became travel meet roommates, and all those trips together brought us incredibly close.

Adam and Michael have been friends since elementary school. Whether they’re reminiscing about Camp Lake Louise or the Marquette trip, they retell the same stories again and again—and still laugh just as hard every time. Michael is one of those people you can’t fully capture in words—you have to meet him to truly understand him. He’s always up for a good time and is known for his famously long goodbyes. On top of that, he’s genuinely one of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve ever met.

Steven is Alexa’s one and only brother, automatically making him the favorite—unless you count Odie! Steven, Adam, and I have been hitting the gym after work, and since he has a tendency to skip leg day, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to keep him accountable.

Adam and Connor met during Adam's freshman year of college, bonding over their time on the cross country and track teams. Today, they're both engineers at GM.

Trey and Adam met as freshmen in college, bonding over their time together on the cross country and track teams. They started as dorm roommates and eventually moved into an apartment with Trey’s girlfriend and their dog, Lucy. Now, Trey works at GM as well, and the two of them enjoy planning trips up north during snowmobiling season.

Colin and Adam became friends through cross country and track at Oakland University. Colin is now continuing his education at OU to become a physical therapist. Whenever Adam needs lifting advice or has muscle pains, he knows he can count on Colin for his advice.

Aidan and Adam have been close friends since childhood. Every now and then, they love planning trips up north or scheduling tee times for a round of golf together.
