There are many options for Airbnb in Cartagena. These are the following neighborhoods that we recommend to stay in to be safe and have a great time! - El Centro ( THE OLD CITY ) The Wedding will be in this neighborhood.- Bocagrande: Very touristy and safe! the bride grew up in this beautiful neighborhood and still loves it! "CLOSE TO THE BEACH AND RESTAURANTS" - Castillo Grande: Very safe upscale neighborhood BAY VIEW. - Los Morros: Its a bit of a drive but for the beach front views, peace and quiet. We definitely recommend it!

I wouldn't recommend renting a car since everything is pretty close by and taxis are VERY cheap!ALWAYS ASK FOR PRICE BEFORE GETTING IN!&nbsp;They usually should not be more than 20.000 COP$ to get around the city.

Make sure to wear comfy shoes and have a fully charged phone! You can take the whole day and walk the old city, experience el Centro by checking out local shops, restaurants and people watching. You will find that each street brings a different vibe! Try to go in the late afternoon so you don't experience the mid-day HEAT. Plus its always nice to see the city during the day and night! ALSO BE CAREFUL WITH STREET FOOD IF YOU HAVE A SENSITIVE TUMMY! LOL

The Pink SeaIt's called El Salar de Galerazamba and it's located about an hour Northeast of Cartagena on the coast of Colombia within the small pueblo of Galerazamba.Where is the Pink Sea located?The Pink Sea is about an hour east of Cartagena, along the coastline.How can you get to the Pink Sea?You can rent a car and drive there on your own, or you can join a tour.Can you swim in the Pink Sea?No. Swimming is not permitted, and you probably wouldn’t want to any way because of the sharp salt crystals and extreme dryness the high salinity water causes PLEASE BRING SANDALS THE SALT IS VERY SHARP!

Pink beach Cartagena - It's called El Salar de Galerazamba

WANT TO JUMP INTO A VOLCANO?!~El Totumo Mud Volcano is an active mud volcano located near sea level in northern Colombia in the municipality of Santa Catalina. A local tourist destination, popular for its alleged healing mud bath, it receives most of its visitors from nearby Cartagena.&nbsp;~GET THERE IN THE AFTERNOON! You’ll miss the insane morning rush of 300+ people, and will get there before the late afternoon tours.&nbsp;We got there around 1:30PM and the entire mud pool was EMPTY!It only costs 10.000 (2$ USD) pesos to go up to the mud volcano on your own. And then you just need to TIP the locals who&nbsp;help you!

BEST VIEW IN THE CITY!Take a taxi up the the convent and have a 360 view of Cartagena! It will cost around 50.000 ( 12 USD$)
