PETRATA HILL: along the roads leading to the castle there are various accommodations .They are mainly farmhouses and BBs and are NOT walkdistance from the castle. - Paradiso41 -antica Fonte -Agriturismo Sole Luna - Re Artu - la dimora di Francesco - Borgo Antichi orti -Cassa Astrid 2. ASSISI CITY CENTER: these are the hotels located in the historic center of Assisi. We think that they can be an excellent solution because you have the opportunity to experience the center of Assisi. - NUN assisi relais & Spa -Giotto Hotel & spa - Dei Priori - Fonterbella palace hotel - Hotel il Palazzo - Sorella Luna 3. SANTA MARIA DEGLI ANGELI: it is a village located a few km from Assisi, on the plain and there are two hotels/country house (one with a swimming pool) that can accommodate many people. This village is where the train station is located. - cenacolo -giotto -sina brufani 4. PERUGIA: about 30 minutes from the castle is the largest Umbrian city where there are some beautiful hotels.
