Funny enough, Nick and Alexa grew up in the same neighborhood, and their moms were social friends who played bunco together and partied at the same parties. Pammy, Nicks Mom, also worked in the front office at Cosby High School where Alexa attended. Even with all of this family crossover, Alexa and Nick had never met.

Back in June of 2021 Pammy saw on Facebook that Alexa was single and told Nicky to shoot his shot, but Alexa wasn't ready. It wasn't until a few months later in August when Nick persistently messaged Alexa again and she decided to give him a chance! Nick went over to Alexa's house 3 times to talk and get to know each other before asking her out on a date in mid-September. They quickly fell in love with each other and the rest was history.
