We recommend going with whatever flight is cheapest and most convenient for you - Midway and O'Hare (Chicago's two airports) are roughly equidistant from the venue, hotels, and downtown. The "El" (train) works great for getting into the Loop (Orange Line if Midway, Blue Line if O'Hare) but Ubers/Lyfts will of course be available, too.

It depends on your preferences! We'd love for you to see all that Chicago has to offer (or a lot of it, at least). We arranged lodging at a hotel on the Magnificent Mile, a Friday night get-together in West Loop, and a Sunday brunch in our home neighborhood of Lakeview East to complement our Lincoln Park wedding. Lyfts/Ubers and taxi cabs are of course in abundance around the city; the venue has a driveway for convenient drop-off/pickup. Chicago also has great, affordable public transportation (the "CTA"). Flat, one-way fares are $2.25 for the bus and $2.50 for the El; you can purchase fares on the Ventra app or pay-as-you-go with Apple Pay. If you're really hoping to get around, 1-Day CTA passes are $5 each and provide unlimited access to the bus and the El (these are purchased on the Ventra app).

Cocktail attire works just fine. Most importantly, wear something you can dance in!
