It was a chance encounter which brought Alexa and Brandon together on June 28^th, 2011. Both ended up at a restaurant in Newport Beach to listen to live music played by, what turned out to be, a mutual friend. Brandon was seated at the outdoor patio with his yellow lab, Polo, at his feet when Alexa, her identical twin sister, Alycia, and their friend, Tessa, walked in. Three beautiful women – a welcome sight to any man. As luck would have it, just a few weeks prior Brandon had been introduced to Tessa and the two recognized each other quickly. Introductions ensued and Brandon and Alycia struck up a quick conversation, while Alexa was rather quiet. Alexa's seeming shyness didn't stop the instant connection between the two. As it turns out, Alexa had a reason to feel slightly uncomfortable, as she was actually there meeting a date. Brandon left before Alexa's date ever arrived, but in addition to her beauty Brandon noticed that Alexa just couldn't take her eyes off of his dog…a good sign.

A week and a half later, Brandon was invited to Alexa and Alycia's annual 4^th of July party at their beach house. An incredible day, which ended with Brandon and Alexa sitting atop a life guard tower and watching the fireworks, was the beginning of their romance. The following three and a half years have been filled with incredible experiences that have provided Alexa and Brandon the opportunity to grow as a couple. And on December 27^th, 2014 Brandon proposed to Alexa in Maui. Brandon proposed on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Wailea at the same location where Alexa's parents, Kevin and Yvette, had renewed their wedding vows during the first year of Alexa and Brandon's relationship – the strength of one marriage serving as the framework for another.

From infatuation, to love, to admiration and respect, Alexa and Brandon are extremely excited to be embarking on this great adventure together. Moreover, Alexa and Brandon are eternally grateful for the love and support they have received from their amazing family and beloved friends.
