SBA is just 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. Ubers and Lyfts are easily accessible from the airport to any hotel or rental property. While this is a smaller airport with fewer direct flights, we highly suggest flying here if possible due to convenience. It is a much easier airport to navigate than LAX in Los Angeles!

LAX is 97 miles south of Santa Barbara and is typically a 2-3 hour drive depending on LA traffic. If you are flying into Los Angeles, we recommend renting a car or using the Santa Barbara Airbus (www.sbairbus.com), which offers direct service from the LAX terminals to Santa Barbara.
