Our story 

Our story, as some of you might already know, is far from your typical. It is one of those love stories you only see in the movies-which makes it even more special. In February of 2022, Luke came to Nashville (where I was living) for his friend TJ's bachelor party weekend. Shoutout to TJ and Taylor for getting married! It was a Thursday night and me and my girls decided to hit the town for a casual night out. We were about to go home and my roomate Maddie and I decided -why not end the night on broadway? We were walking down broadway and ran into the bachelor party. We decided to show them a few of our favorite bars. When we got to Kid Rock's I sat next to Luke and he asked to buy me a drink. We talked, laughed and drank for the rest of the night and we exchanged numbers (Luke was pretty sly about asking for my number). Guess we liked each other's company enough to hang out for the rest of the weekend! When Sunday came we knew we probably wouldn't see each other again. Luke headed back to Georgia, but I guess I was on his mind because not even 2 hours after he left Nashville he texted me. From that moment on we talked every day- he started calling me on his way home from work and facetiming before bed. Who would've thought you could get to know someone so deep, so quickly over the phone. But we started to fall in love! One night on the phone Luke nonchalantly made a comment about coming back to Nashville. I took him up on his offer and just 3 weeks after the bachelor party weekend Luke was at my door. We went on our first date on March 3rd, 2022. The entire dinner I smiled so hard my cheeks hurt and Luke couldn't stop blushing. That night after dinner Luke asked me to be his girlfriend and with no hesitation I said YES. Ever since then, we have been inseparable. I knew he was my forever person. In our first few months of dating we did a lot of back and forth driving from Tennessee to Georgia- but we knew we had something special and wanted to make it work. November came around and my lease in Nashville was coming to an end, and I knew in my heart that Luke was my forever. I couldn't imagine doing another year of long distance, and in my head it was now or never! We had to make the choice to move to Nashville or Georgia. Just 8 months after we met- I packed up my life and moved to Social Circle, GA so we could start the next chapter of our lives together. It was one of the easiest and best choices we have ever made. I guess when it's meant to be its meant to be because everything lined up so easily for me to make the move. Dixie and I moved in with Luke and Easy and we became a family of 4. We both started new jobs and adjusted into our new lives together. We've loved every second of living together and the life we have created here in Georgia. Fast forward to August 24th 2023, Luke got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife and that was the easiest HELL YES! From strangers in a bar, to doing long distance, to picking up and moving states- every moment has been worth it to experience a love as incredible as this. Cheers to forever!
