AJ and Alexa have known each other for over 15 years now. They started out as friends throughout high school. Junior year AJ and Alexa went to prom together and continued to stay close for years to follow.

After they graduated college, Alexa and AJ took a trip to Nashville with all their friends. AJ bought Alexa a rose at a country bar and the rest is history. Since then, they’ve both lived in many different areas of the city, have made countless memories together and now share an apartment in Logan Square. AJ proposed on their 5 year anniversary. He rented a small vintage boat on the Chicago River and popped the question. They enjoyed an amazing meal at their favorite restaurant, Giant, to celebrate! It was truly a day they will never forget.

AJ and Alexa love exploring the city, trying new restaurants and bars and cuddling up on the couch to watch a new show or movie. They never would have guessed in 2011 that they would be marrying their high school prom dates, but now that they are here they couldn’t be any more thankful and excited for what’s in store for their future together.
