Our love story began January 1, 2020 when we were both invited to Brett's NYE party at MSU. That night we danced and laughed all while Blake tried out his best pickup lines. As awful as his one liners were from that night forward we were pretty well inseparable. We did long distance until 2022 when we finally moved into our first house together. The dogs loved constantly having a friend to play with and we learned to navigate how to live with one another. From disagreements on what the thermostat should be set at, to late night ice cream runs, we knew this was going to be our forever.

On August 2, 2024 Blake finally popped the question. That summer he was working out of town so finding a weekend to get down on one knee proved to be challenging. Another hurdle he had to overcome was designing the ring all through email and FaceTime only to see his creation 20 minutes before he proposed. The proposal was purely us. It happened in Brad and Jenny's driveway with Carson being an unknown bystander to one of the biggest moments of our lives. It was an immediate and easy yes (after some colorful language and tears).

This is just the start to our happily ever after and we can't wait to celebrate with all our friends and family.
