What is the dress code?
We're aiming for a fun and elegant celebration, so dress for the occasion! Cocktail/semi-formal attire is perfect. Think suits (sports coats/slacks welcome) and ties for men, and cocktail dresses or dressy separates for women.
Just a heads up: avoid bright colors that may stick out of the crowd (red, hot pink, neon, etc.) as they can sometimes negatively affect the appearance of photographs. Please no golf shorts, polos, or jeans. Please also be mindful of the bride and avoid wearing white or colors that may appear white in photographs!
We want our guests to feel happy and comfortable! If you have any questions, let us know.
What color is the bridal party wearing?
The bridal party will be wearing sage green attire.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be fully outdoors (weather permitting). The cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor, with a beautiful, large, outdoor porch connected to where the cocktail hour will be hosted. The reception will be inside the main hotel. There is a small deck located just off of the hallway outside of the ballroom for anyone who may need to step outside for any reason!
Can we take pictures during the ceremony?
We ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us.
Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.
Will there be an open bar?
Of course! We want to celebrate our love with dancing, laughter, and maybe a few (or more) drinks with all of you! There will be an open bar to keep the party flowing. Just be sure to pace yourselves and stay safe – we want everyone to remember this night for the right reasons (mostly the love, but also the fun!).
Will I be able to bring a guest/plus one?
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed on your invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the names people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for your understanding.
Are kids welcome?
While we adore your children, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only affair, with the exception of our nieces and nephew who are part of the ceremony.
We understand Camelback Resort is a wonderful family destination, and we encourage you to bring your children to enjoy the resort's amenities, such as the waterpark and arcade, during your stay. Please note, however, that children will not be included in the wedding festivities.
