While the closest airport to fly into is Dulles International Airport (IAD), we also have Ronald Regan National Airport (DCA) or Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) that are between an hour and hour and a half away!

While we cannot wait to share our beautiful new home with you, we are in a pretty remote area. I would not rely on late night Ubers or public transportation if you plan to enjoy the long weekend sight seeing (unless you are going to DC). Each of the three airports has multiple rental car services available but I would book early as this is a holiday weekend!

On this website you’ll find a full list of free Smithsonian museums and other amazing attractions like George Washington’s Mount Vernon and Ford’s Theatre where Abraham Lincoln was shot!
