Murphys has an adorable Main Street area: restaurants, shops, wineries. There are a multitude of tasting rooms and delicious food. This town will have the most activities to do outside of wedding events.

Big Trees State Park is right along Highway 4. There are many beautiful hikes around the park to check out all the giant sequoias and redwood trees.

Highway 4 has beautiful scenery. If you continue to drive up, you will get to Bear Valley Ski Resort. About 10 minutes past the resort is Alpine Lake.

Yosemite is about 2 hours away from this area. If you have never been, it is a beautiful park with lots of hiking and scenic views. If you can, check it out while you're in town!

If you come early or stay a few days late, Lake Tahoe can be a beautiful addition to your trip.

It is about 3 hours away from our venue. Take the scenic highway 4 pass and drive past many lakes and beautiful views.
