Alexander and Katelyn met in Mrs. Smiths first-grade classroom. They had many classes together after that, but they did not start talking until the very end of sophomore year. Their mutual high school friend invited Alexander and Katelyn to Waffle House. It was nearing finals week, so they had a half day of school. After they all ate waffles, they decided to go to the pool. Once in the pool, Alexander persuaded Katelyn to skip their very last Spanish class, and the rest is history. They were attached at the hip that entire summer, going to Braves games, movies, concerts, etc. Alexander and Katelyn dated throughout the rest of high school and during college, growing more in love every day.
