Their third date happened during a snowstorm in New York City. Bundled up against the cold, they strolled through a snow-blanketed Central Park and marveled at the wonders of the Museum of Natural History.

Their bond grew quickly, and it wasn't long before they moved in together. Over the years, they made incredible memories traveling together—exploring the emerald landscapes of Ireland, the bustling streets of London, the sunny coasts of Greece, and the diverse cities of the US, from Denver to Florida and North Carolina. A standout trip was Francesca’s first home opener experience at Penn State, where the energy and excitement were palpable.

In December 2023, their hearts expanded even more with the adoption of Haley, a sweet rescue dog who immediately bonded with Alex's dog, Trixie, adding even more joy and chaos to their home.

On a radiant July 6th, with the New York City skyline as their witness, Alex proposed to Francesca at the Edge.
