Alex and Eleya met in August of 2020 in the glamorous plumbing showroom of Emco Kelowna. While Alex thinks it was love at first sight, Eleya is convinced she first liked Alex when he made a joke about eating too much Indian food while in the toilet section.

Alex & Eleya spent countless Friday nights, running through the Bond franchise and drinking too many gin & tonics. Inevitably, they made it through the entire series (25 films to be exact) and are still going strong. Dating in the height of COVID made for an interesting dynamic, but they filled their time with exploring the city, wine tours, and lots of nights in.

From many failed camping trips, to spending time with each other's families, to building a home with their son Hammond, their relationship has been filled with many special moments and they look forward to making many more!
