Elizabeth first met Sam doing improv in March 2020, and their friendship remains, of course, the most noteworthy thing to come out of that time period. Before long they were brunching, D&Ding, and Elizabeth even found herself mysteriously rooting for the Dolphins against the Bills. Now there is simply no other person she would rather text her random medical questions to!

Natalie met Alex and then Sam in the magical, tragical world of Chicago comedy where she's had the pleasure of falling in pretend-love with Alex on stage (numerous times and twice as cowboys) and watching these two nutters fall in real-love IRL. Nat was tasked with sneakily capturing the moment Alex popped the question and is stoked to have a front-row seat to them tying the knot. She promises not to object, even if prompted, and to do her part in preventing Sam from concussing herself.

James and Alex met through the world of Chicago comedy and spent 2 years as roommates. He met Sam through comedy as well. He was there when Alex and Sam started dating and is happy to finally have a “Lil Sis”. He couldn’t be happier to stand up as one of the best men and can’t wait to celebrate!

Esh met Alex and Sam through the Music Improv Night program at (formerly) MCL and The Annoyance. Alex and Esh have coached each other on separate teams. He is excited to share his love of Rita’s Italian Ice with anyone who will listen. Ask him about Bird Pants sometime.

Vinny has known Alex since birth and met Sam when Alex brought her home for Christmas years ago. Even though he has one sister already, he’s excited to get a second sister. He’s the only member of the wedding party to have ever been to Russia, but isn’t sure he’d recommend it for their honeymoon.

I first met Alex when my sister brought him on a family vacation to North Carolina. We bounded over good music and drinks. We’ve talked on the phone a few times and are also Facebook friends. I don’t remember the first time I met Sam, my parents brought me home from the hospital and I think she was there.

Isabella had the pleasure of meeting Sam and Alex through Comedy Sportz Chicago at Malarkey Comedy back in 2021 doing short-form improv, but she knows that these two are in it for the long-form *badumtssss*. She had loved watching them constantly endowing each other with gifts of support, humor, and affection. She is tickled pink to set the floral stage for this special day, and can’t wait to see them say “yes, and!” to a wonderful life together.
