Our Wedding

Our journey began to sprout when we met our freshman year of college through a mutual friend. However it didn't really begin to grow until we became closer friends our sophomore year. We started spending a lot of time together in a friend group and absolutely loved picking on each other and joking together. Later that year, that same mutual friend played cupid and here we are. Within a week we knew this was something special and to this day we are still growing together and growing with the Lord. We have really seen the Lord work in and through our relationship and we are excited for what He has in store. We hope you will join us in prayer and fellowship throughout this next chapter of our story.

We are so glad you are considering being part of this joyous occasion. We are excited to share this event with family and friends. That being said, these are challenging times and we recognize there are many differing opinions on what should and shouldn’t be done. Our desire is to keep everyone as safe as possible but we recognize that any gathering does not come without risk. While we would love to have all of our guests at our wedding we understand that these are unprecedented days so we are asking that each guest determine what is appropriate in their situation. Above all we ask that you love one another and have grace with any that may think differently than you do. We will provide multiple hand sanitizing stations set up around the venue. We ask that you use these frequently. While we desire to have you at our ceremony, if you are not feeling well on that day we ask that you stay home and take advantage of our on-line option. While it’s not a requirement for our wedding, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on that day. Please note that we won’t be supplying masks at the venue, so you will need to provide your own. While there have been many guests invited we will provide as much opportunity as possible for social distancing but know that there may be times when this will be difficult. For those who will be attending the dinner reception, we will be in a park setting. Tables will be set up in an enclosed shelter with large open doors on all 4 sides of the shelter (weather permitting). There will be assigned seating. Whenever possible we will try to seat you with people you are familiar with and are most likely to have already spent time with.  Food will be served in buffet style but you will be served by our kitchen crew. The tables will be dismissed one at a time to minimize contact.  We are planning to have dancing at the dinner reception. However, we are also hoping to make available some fun outdoor games and you can also feel free to bring your own. We completely understand some may feel uncomfortable with this type of setting or are unable to participate. Again, we invite you to check out our live stream and join us virtually.  We would love your RSVP no later than May 15 in order to properly plan for this joyous celebration.
