If you ask Melina: We met like most people our age meet... through Instagram. When Alex first messaged me, the first thing I did was block him. Something told me to go back and unblock him, and I did. I looked through his pictures to see what type of person he was. I find out he is my good friend Nette’s younger brother and not a scary stranger. I also see a cute skater boy who loves his dogs, and I was head over heels. I was always on my phone waiting for him to message me and wait exactly 25 minutes to answer to not scare him away. It’s been 4 years and a baby later, and he is still here.

If you ask Alex: I first saw Melina on Instagram. I messaged her and waited forever for a response only to find out I got blocked. I ended up finding her Instagram again and messaged her again. This time was different, she finally responded and it was alignment. We connected so much and it turned out my sister and Melina were friends in high school and that made the alignment so much better. She’s a sweetheart with animals and the biggest WWE fan. After many Friday night Smackdowns and Monday Night Raw’s i’m excited for many more.

November 17, 2021: We met for the first time in the dairy section at the Walmart on East Main. Every time we are there we tell our son that’s where his parents met.
