Alex and Adelaide match on Hinge and begin getting to know each other. Their first date was soon to follow on November 8th.

We have our third date, a 12+ hour hang out session where Alex says, "I knew then on that bench I wanted to marry you." Our bench is in this photo here. We hold a pact to have lunch together here once a month and enjoy the nearby stream.

Our first vacation together! Both lovers of historic architecture we head to beautiful St. Augustine, FL for the annual night of lights!

Second vacation! We spent 4 wonderful days in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Adelaide had a bright idea to camp in 20 degree weather. Alex brags that he tolerated the experience far better than she did. Deep talks about the future solidified our love and commitment to one another.

Engagement! Alex popped the question during a quiet moment with our pets in our home. It could not have been more perfect!
