Our Story

Around six years ago, was a day that both Alexandra and Riley would never forget. It all began with a photo. By some crazy luck, a picture of Alex made its way into Rileys sight. It wasnt long before he wondered who the girl from the photo was. I mean, she knew a lot of the same people, and it even looked like they may have some things in common. For a while he wondered if it was worth saying anything, but he couldnt help but wonder about who this mystery girl was. After asking a few friends if he should reach out, he made the unnerving decision to just go for it. At this time Alex had never been in a relationship. A message from a cute boy shed never spoken to before would bring both big excitement and all the “what ifs” ones brain could come up with. But there it was. A message came through from a boy who actually looked a little familiar. She realized she had seen him before but back in high school. Oddly enough she had only seen his photo as he had with her. But she had a moment, a flashback if you will, of what was an immediate attraction and a little crush that had formed that first time that she saw him. The two never met or crossed paths in person but there were many chances they could have. So, she sat for a moment thinking to herself, is this really the boy I saw all those years ago? Before she could respond she went to his page and was surprised to see that it indeed was him. The same boy she had a crush on all those years ago. He sent a funny little joke to start the conversation. Little did they know that would be the beginning of what was a truly “sweep you off your feet” kind of romance. Some believe that love at first sight is just a fabrication seen only in movies. However, it was quickly proven true the moment their eyes locked face to face. After the first message the two spoke nonstop. Never without a big grin on their faces. All of the typing back in forth came to a halt to allow what was a scary first in person meeting. But the two were immediately an inseparable pair of lovebirds. A comfort they had never felt before became apparent right away. That night they spent talking for hours, joking around, and tossing popcorn like weirdos. It was astonishing how much they had in common. To this day Alex will never forget the text she received that first night: so, do you like him? Of course, this was the moment she happened to be showing something to her crush. Both of them blushed and she felt her heart skip a beat. But she knew the answer to the question. She indeed liked him very much. From that day on they took their time, hanging out all of the time but becoming the best of friends. In doing so, they found a love unlike any other. They fell, and they fell hard. With patience, understanding, and a deep knowledge of how to love one another, they transformed what began as a wonderful friendship into a lifelong relationship. They had never laughed, loved, or smiled so intensely. Over the years, they navigated adulthood, becoming the best versions of themselves every step of the way. To this very moment, they couldnt imagine a day without each other. All these years later the pair couldnt be more excited to take their journey its next adventure of becoming Mr. and Mrs. Clarke.
