Our love story began in the most unexpected way. One evening in 2022, Alex found herself at a birthday party for Brad’s sister Lottie—who just happens to be Alex’s best friend. Amid laughter and celebration, fate played its hand when Alex noticed something unique about Brad: a crooked pinky, just like her own. That shared quirk sparked our very first silly conversation and opened the door to discovering so many more things in common.
What started as a lighthearted chat quickly turned into an all-night conversation filled with genuine connection and lots of laughter. Despite the distance between us—Brad living in Illinois and Alex in Missouri—we found a way to bridge the gap. Night after night, our talks continued; we played video games together and watched movies together virtually. Our video chats became a cherished ritual, even as we drifted off to sleep together on screen, united by a deepening bond and comforted by the thought of one another.
After a year marked by weekend visits that always felt too short and the challenge of a long-distance relationship, Brad took a bold step. He asked Alex to move to Wisconsin to be closer to his dad and, more importantly, to each other. That move was the beginning of a beautiful journey: one where we grew together, changed together, and helped each other become the best versions of ourselves.
At Christmastime in 2023, Brad took an even bolder step. He proposed to Alex on a beautiful hike, under a giant Saguaro cactus in Arizona—a magical moment that perfectly captured our adventurous and heartfelt journey.
Now, after two wonderful years in Wisconsin, we’re excited to announce that in April 2025, we will be moving back to St. Louis. This move isn’t just a change of scenery—it’s our way of putting down roots and being closer to our families, a testament to the love and commitment that has carried us this far.
This is our story—a tale of serendipity, shared quirks, and a love that has only grown stronger with every mile between us. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with you.
