Nick and Lexa met while attending high school at Quincy Notre Dame. Despite going an entire year without crossing paths, the two finally got to know each other in 2016, when Lexa was a sophomore and Nick was a junior. After spending much of high school together, they each graduated and began to forge their own paths in life.


Following his graduation from Quincy Notre Dame, Nick attended Quincy University for a year before transferring to multiple schools to play collegiate baseball. He finally landed in Clarksville Tennessee for two years, where Lexa would frequently visit to watch him pitch for the Austin Peay Governors. Lexa attended Saint Louis University for four years before graduating with her BSN-RN.


In January of 2023, just months before Lexa was set to graduate, Nick decided to propose to her after 6 years of dating. Lexa was shocked by the proposal, but excitedly said yes. Since then, the two have returned to Quincy, where they excitedly begin to prepare for their lives together.
