The exact details of their first introduction are still up for debate. Somewhere between mutual friends and helpful bartenders, Ben was encouraged to join Alexandra’s group. One conversation led to another... and the rest is history. (Ben has his own version of this story, and it's incredibly sweet, be sure to ask him sometime.)

From the beginning, it was clear they had a lot in common, including a shared love of breweries. At one point, they were both working at breweries just 1.2 miles apart, unknowingly brewing up more than just beer. Their mutual passion for craftsmanship, community, and good company continues today, especially during their weekly trivia nights back at Celestial.

But beyond their shared hobbies, one of the deepest connections they shared was their faith. Early on, they began going to church together, something that quickly became one of the most meaningful parts of their relationship. Their faith in Christ has become the foundation of their relationship, guiding their decisions and shaping the kind of marriage they hope to build.

Since that serendipitous meeting, Ben and Alexandra have filled their days traveling, cooking, and spending meaningful time with each other’s families and friends. One of their most memorable trips was a weekend getaway Ben planned to Fredericksburg for wineries, followed by a stop in Marfa, TX, where they soaked in the art and ambiance of West Texas. (Bonus points: Ben flew them there himself. Seriously, how could she not be impressed?)

One year after they met, Ben proposed after their anniversary dinner on a rooftop overlooking downtown Dallas, with a sneaky friend hiding in the wings to photograph it all. She said "YES"!
