In 2018, Niko and Lexie met at a Halloween party at Indiana University, where her referee costume caught his eye. When 2020 rolled around, their friendship developed into something more! On October 2, 2020, they made it official. Since then, the Lord has been numbering their steps toward a long, exciting future with Him at the center.

Niko graduated from Indiana University in 2020, and then pursued a Master's Degree from there as well - giving Lexie another year with him in Bloomington! In 2021 after his Master's graduation, he moved to Chicago, IL to begin a career in Accounting. Lexie still had a year left in Bloomington, so they visited each other often.

Upon Lexie's graduation from IU in 2022, she joined Niko in Chicago, finally! They lived in Chicago right down the street from each other for about 2 years, and recently moved to Pittsburgh for blossoming careers in finance.

Two weeks before they moved to Pittsburgh, Lexie was under the impression that they were going to a nice dinner with their friend Connor - little did she know, Niko and Con had other plans! They took her up to the 45th floor, and Niko popped the question. We are still not sure who was more nervous - Connor or Niko!

And the rest is history!
