Ben and Alex met while attending Assumption College in Worcester, MA. Although they knew each other all four years, they did not start dating until the end of college. After they started dating, Alex taught Ben to snowboard, now one of their favorite things to do together. Alex and Ben love traveling together and spending time outside. Some of their favorite trips together include Costa Rica, Switzerland, and Colorado.

After five years of making the commute between Connecticut and Massachusetts, Ben moved to Chelsea, MA. Ben was brave enough to move into Alex's apartment with her two girlfriends, Kristen and Brittany, while they lived out of her small closet-less bedroom. After living in the Medford Street apartment for a year, Alex and Ben moved down the street into their own apartment in Chelsea.

One year later, Ben took Alex to her favorite restaurant on Revere Beach, Dryft, and asked her to take a walk on the beach. After faking a hamstring injury, Ben got down on one knee and proposed to Alex. She said yes!
