Peekskill Museum is a community supported cultural organization. Begun in 1946 with the acquisition of the former Herrick family home of 1878, this house-museum has been offering various exhibits and programs since 1976.

Our primary focus is local history. People, events and objects of past times in Peekskill and Cortlandt are highlighted at Peekskill Museum in several ways.

Welcome to the BeanRunner Cafe, where you can dine from our eclectic menu of panini sandwiches, wraps, fine soups, desserts and real fruit smoothies. We also serve imported beers and wines.

In addition to our food offerings, the BeanRunner also has a children's play room and live music every weekend — in fact, the BeanRunner is now one of Westchester's hottest Jazz Clubs.
