Our Wedding

In the midst of a pandemic and the early stages of our careers, fate brought us together at a party on the Fourth of July in 2020. Matt accidentally collided into Alex in a game of slap cup. Alex was quickly swept away by Matt’s charm and humorous personality. By Labor Day 2020 our journey as a couple began. Alex and Matt are an adventurous couple, always looking at places to travel, activities to do, and restaurants to taste. We moved to Eastern Long Island in 2022. Only after a month of living together we became dog parents to our sweet golden retriever Lola! We are grateful for the love and support from friends and family throughout our journey. We’re thrilled to embark on this new chapter together, knowing our love and memories will only grow stronger!

Great beer, oysters, and bar food. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, pet friendly! Less than 5 minute walk to Main Street in Patchogue where you can explore tons of restaurants and bars.

Blue Point Brewery 

Matthew’s favorite place to golf and Alexandra’s favorite place to run/walk! You can enjoy 9-18 holes of golf or just go to the driving range. Behind the golf course you can sit back and relax on the dock and enjoy the Great South Bay at the Maritime Museum.

West Sayville Golf Course

Enjoy the East Coast beaches of Long Island! Alexandra’s favorite part of Robert Moses State Park is Field 5. At Field 5 you can take a scenic 1 mile walk to the Robert Moses Lighthouse which is the beginning of Fire Island.

Robert Moses State Park 

Indoor pickleball courts, mini golf and beer garden. Great place to play outdoor games and hang out! Also, dog friendly!

The View- Oakdale, NY: Great views on the water and good happy hour! The Wharf-Oakdale, NY: Right on the water, great for late night or during the day.
