A vintage trolley will offer transportation to the ceremony downtown and to the nearby reception venue. We have arranged for the trolley to pick up guests at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston - Mount Pleasant on the day of the wedding. The last stop will be at Leon's Oyster Shop to end the evening.
Details on the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston - Mount Pleasant can be found below.
Mount Pleasant is just across the Arthur Ravenel bridge and about a ten minute drive from downtown Charleston. We love Mount Pleasant because it is a little quieter than downtown and is family-friendly. Our favorite things to see in Mount Pleasant include Pitt Street Bridge and Old Village, which is home to Post House, the location of our Welcome Dinner.

Emeline is in downtown Charleston and is the spot where Alexandra & Taylor stayed when they first visited Charleston together. Emeline is home to a hip restaurant, Frannie & the Fox, and a cute coffee shop called Clerks.
We rented a cute Carriage House on our recent wedding plan trip to Charleston in the Cannonborough/Elliotborough neighborhood. Rentals are available in various neighborhoods, all near downtown Charleston and centrally located. YourPad makes it so easy to have a homey stay in Charleston with a little bit more space of your own.
