The ceremony and reception will take place at the Wailea Beach Resort in Wailea, Hawaii. The ceremony will take place outdoors on the Kaho’olawe Lawn, followed by a cocktail hour. Reception will move indoors to the Makai Ballroom!
Please download the Wailea Beach Resort app for directions from the Wailea Beach Resort Lobby to the Kaho’olawe Lawn. We will also have signage to help guide you to our ceremony.
What should I wear?
The dress code is Black Tie Optional / Formal. We ask that you choose cocktail to formal attire for our wedding. For men, tuxedos are not required (nor off-limits), a nice suit or sports coat will be appropriate as well. For women, we recommend a light-weight floor or tea-length dress, dressy pantsuit, or fancy cocktail dress if you prefer shorter cuts. Please no Hawaiian shirts, shorts, jeans, or bathing suit coverups.
For those interested in wearing heels, please be aware the ceremony and cocktail hour will be located on a grassy lawn.
What is typical weather like in April?
Temperatures can range from high 70s / low 80s during the day and high 60s in the evenings. April is considered the very end of rainy season in Maui. However, Wailea is located on the Southwest side of the island which is dry and typically does not see rain too often. If rain occurs, it usually is a mild and quick rain shower.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Are kids invited?
As much as we love children, this will be an adult only event other than those in the Bridal Party. We hope you understand and can still join us for our celebration.
