The day after we officially started dating, Aaron took me to pick out a real Christmas tree. Very quickly, I learned the perils of real trees. We forgot to water it and had to figure out how to cut off the bottom of the trunk with a hand saw in Aaron's apartment!

We went for lunch at Somerby with Aaron's mom, and she snapped this picture of us by one of their Christmas trees.

We made a quick trip up to Minneapolis to check out their European Christmas Market, and it was INSANELY busy but so much fun!

Our first new years together was celebrated with funny hats and lots of laughs.

A trip to the Mall of America turned into an impromptu game of mini golf, which, I'm reluctant to admit, Aaron did beat me at - the evidence STILL hangs on the fridge.

I was a bridesmaid in my younger sister's wedding, and Aaron was a blessing. Between helping set up, cookie delivery, tear down, and driving us back to Minnesota in a freak snow storm, I couldn't have done it without him!

Aaron ran a half-marathon because he lost his fantasy football league, and while I was NOT going to run with him, I broke out some glitter and made a fun sign to cheer him on!

We made a trip out to DC to watch his boss in the Congressional Baseball Game for Charity and made the most of it by visiting museums, eating good food, and doing a little shopping. Aaron also introduced me to Georgetown Cupcake - definitely recommend!

I swear, one of Aaron's favorite holidays is the Minnesota State Fair! We went once with our group of friends and a second time a week later. Definitely a fun new tradition I'm excited for this year!

After our second visit to the State Fair, we found ourselves at a Gophers football game.

The day we got engaged, Aaron planned a trip to Aamodt's Apple Orchard in Stillwater. Afterwards, we found an adorable restaurant, which we absolutely plan on re-visiting often.

A Valley Scare trip with our friends, where Aaron took so much joy in popping out to give me even more jump scares than I was already getting.
