Are kids welcome?

Yes, your kids ARE invited. When it comes time to RSVP, please include them in your count. Lopesan has a Kids Club, waterpark, arcade, bowling alley, and much more. The resort also offers babysitting services (for a fee).

Is there a room block?

Yes! Please view "The Resort" and the "Room Block" pages for more information. (**By 07/10/25, all of the UNIQUE rooms in the room block had booked - we were recently able to add only a few more to the block so the new UNIQUE rates are now posted.**)

Do I have to book my stay using the room block?

No, you can book via any site you want; however, there are some perks of booking the room block.

Why should I book using the room block?

The room block rates are locked in, they will not change. We anticipate that beginning in September 2025, the resort will increase their rates for December 2025 - April 2026. Additionally, the room block rates include your room, transportation to and from the resort, all of your food and alcohol, all taxes and fees, non-motorized water sports, nightly entertainment, etc.

Who is Heidi?

Heidi Golfman is our travel agent! You can (and should) call or email Heidi with any questions about the resort/reserving your room(s). You can call Heidi to book, but she will ultimately need your reservation request in writing via an email. (All of Heidi's services are free of charge.) Do I need a passport?

A passport is required to travel to the Dominican Republic. It is recommended to check the expiration date to ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

What day should I arrive?

Whenever you want! However, everyone is invited to our Welcome Party which will take place on the evening of Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Which airport should I fly into?

Punta Cana International (PUJ) is the closest. The resort is about 20 minutes from the airport. *Prior to leaving for the airport, everyone must fill out their immigration e-ticket: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/ For more information about the e-ticket: https://www.godominicanrepublic.com/travel/entry-requirements

Do I have to stay at the resort?

Technically, no, you can stay wherever you want; however, we highly recommend you stay at the resort. Lopesan charges a fee to enter the resort if you are staying elsewhere. Please reach out to us and we can provide more information.

Are the Welcome Party and Wedding indoors or outdoors?

The Welcome Party will be outside at Lopesan's Timon Bar. Our wedding ceremony will be on the beach, cocktail hour and the reception will be in an open-air indoor space.

How will I get to the resort once I land?

If you book your stay using the room block, your transportation to and from the resort is included. A shuttle will pick you up at the airport and take you back to the airport after your stay. If you do not book the room block, you're on your own!

What is the dress code?

For the Welcome Party and the wedding think "upscale beach". Gentlemen - shorts and a nice shirt. Ladies - sundresses, maxi dresses, jumpsuits, etc. The low will likely be ~70 degrees and the high will likely be ~84 degrees. We want you to be comfortable!

Does the resort have an app?
