TRAVELING TO VIRGIN GORDA
Connecting airports surrounding the BVI makes arrivals and departures an easy part of your travel itinerary and part of the experience itself with every island-hop by ferry, charter plane, chartered boat or sailboat.
The easiest way to get to the British Virgin Islands by air is to fly into the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island (EIS), located on Tortola (BVI’s main island). This airport serves as a hub for most major airlines arriving from North America and Europe. Some travelers may find it easier to catch a connecting flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico, or St. Thomas in the USVI.
Once you arrive in the British Virgin Islands, you will typically use water transportation to reach Virgin Gorda, your final destination —usually a ferry, charter boat, or water taxi.

If you’re coming to the British Virgin Islands from the United States, you will be happy to know that American Airlines now offers a nonstop flight service from Miami to Beef Island, Tortola. This short three-hour flight from Miami International Airport to the British Virgin Islands means that travelers will no longer have to connect through Puerto Rico or St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Additionally, several other popular airlines offer direct flights to connection hub airports that are very close to the British Virgin Islands. Generally, these airlines fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) or St. Thomas (USVI), and include major airline carriers such as:

AIRPORT TO VIRGIN GORDA
There are several ways to get to Little Dix Bay Resort on Virgin Gorda, BVI
1. Fly into St. Thomas and take public ferry to Virgin Gorda and taxi to hotel
2. Fly into St. Thomas and private water taxi will take you directly to Virgin Gorda and Resort
3. Fly into Tortola and arrange to take Little Dix Bay transfer water taxi(fee) if staying at Little Dix Bay Rosewood Resort, a catamaran will pick you up and and greet you with a sign, snacks, drinks and take you directly to the hotel where you arrive at the resort's dock ($160 roundtrip)
