The story of Alex and Thomas dates back to the early 2000s when the two attended kindergarten together at Saint Thomas More School in Allentown, PA. Although they started off as friends, they began "dating" in the 7th grade. Their early relationship consisted of their parents driving them to the movies, attending middle school dances and Alex cheering for star basketball player, Thomas, on the sidelines of STM games.

The couple continued their relationship through early high school, but ultimately called it quits and went their separate ways. Thomas then went on to college at Elon University in North Carolina and Alex went to Penn State.

Thomas and Alex rekindled their relationship in the summer of 2017, while Alex was studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Once Alex was back in the US, the couple went on their (second) first date and decided to make it official shortly after- just in time for Thomas to leave for study abroad in Dublin, Ireland for four months! Alex went out to visit over Thanksgiving of 2017.

After two years of long distance, Thomas and Alex moved to Charlotte, NC together in 2019 where they started their first jobs. A few years and a couple of new jobs later, the two purchased their first home in CLT!

Thomas and Alex adopted their first pet, Bagel. He enjoys basking in the sun, playing fetch and begging for food constantly.

After five years of dating, Thomas surprised Alex and popped the question in Charleston, SC! They celebrated the occasion all weekend long with their closest family and friends. We're now anxiously awaiting our big day and probably the biggest party of everyone's lives.
