No visit to Savannah is complete without a historic or ghost focused tour! Peruse the web and you'll find what suits your needs - walking day tour, walking nighttime ghost tour, ghost tour in a hearse, take your pick! It is a beautiful place to mosey around admiring the squares, cemeteries and history! Savannah is open container, so head into CVS for a carton of wine, or grab a to go drink from a bar you pass by and enjoy!
For anyone interested in golfing, the Westin hotel has a fantastic course and facilities on site. Tee times can be made 30 days in advance, and your resort fee includes use of the practice facility plus discounted greens fees for tee times after 4:00 PM.
We never complete a trip to Savannah without stopping at St Neo's for a dozen oysters and martinis (at least for Alex). Checkout their rooftop too! If you go for dinner, you should make a reservation.
IYKYK - this is the place for brunch in Savannah! No reservations for brunch, just first come first serve, but if you go for dinner, you will want to make one! There is a location in Forsyth Park as well.
We love to walk along Bull St between Forsyth Park and Chippewa Square, definitely explore this more historic area and not only River Street.
