Our Wedding

Our story 

We met at Rocky Creek Camp when we were 12 and 13. Brian had a crush on me the moment he saw me, but I didn’t give him the time of day. We grew up attending different churches — Brian in West Monroe, Louisiana, and me in Crowley and Lafayette — and stayed in touch over the years. In the summer of 2023, the Lord brought us together. I felt a call to pray and began asking friends and family, “How can I pray for you?” That drew us close; Brian was facing some dark times, and the Lord used our faith and our friendship to lead him to the cross. From there, love grew: giggles on FaceTime, tears when we had to say goodbye, and a deepening commitment to one another. After we graduated, Brian proposed and we finally lived in the same town. What began as camp crushes became a partnership rooted in faith — and we’re so excited to enter into a Godly marriage. The Lord has written a beautiful love story for us, and we can’t wait to see what He does next.

Breece Broussard has been Alexandra’s best friend for five years. They met in high school and quickly became inseparable; through ups and downs, nothing has ever come between them. Breece led Alexandra to Jesus during a difficult time, and Alexandra has been there for Breece in return. She could not be more deserving of her role.

Ben Moore is Brian’s younger brother and his lifelong teammate. They’ve had each other’s backs for as long as they can remember, bonding over basketball and good-natured debates about who’s the better player. Through every win and loss, Ben’s support means the world to Brian—he couldn’t be prouder to have him standing by his side.

Haley Gavel is the bride’s cousin and is often lovingly called “Hay Hay.” Alexandra and Haley share a ridiculous sense of humor and are frequently found rolling on the floor in fits of laughter—once they start, it’s a while before they stop. So be careful what joke you make she may just fall apart😂!

Brooklyn is the brides cousin. Brooklyn also known as broccoli/ broc is the chaos you never knew you needed! She lights up every room she enters! If you ever see Brooklyn whispering in the brides ear… SAVE THE BRIDE there is some serious harassment going on. Just kidding… ish.

Brooklyn Ford

Samantha Ford is the bride’s little sister and Alexandra’s lifelong partner in crime. From whispered conversations only Alexandra can translate to impromptu living-room performances, they’ve always been inseparable. Samantha lights up every room with a playful mix of sarcasm and joyful chaos; she’s never been afraid to be herself, and that won’t change on the big day.

Brenn is Alexandra’s older sister and a constant source of joy. She arrived in Alexandra’s life like a bonus character nobody expected but everyone quickly loved. Loud, hilarious, and full of color, Brenn sees the world in technicolor and never fails to entertain. She’s patiently weathered Alexandra’s twelve-year-old drama—an endurance that deserves a medal—and remains one of Alexandra’s greatest blessings.

Kiedan (famously known as “Chevy”) is one of Brian’s closest friends. They met in high school and have taken countless trips on Chevy’s boat. When they’re in a room together, you’ll always know it.

Joseph (known to friends as “Josephus”) is one of Brian’s closest friends; they met in high school. Josephus can usually be found riding his crotch rocket or goofing off with the crew. He and Brian have supported each other through countless ups and downs, and Brian is grateful to have him by his side.

Joseph Thomas 

Matthew served as Brian’s youth leader and has since become a close friend. Known for his distinctive shoe choices and an uncanny ability to disappear during “catch the counselor,” Matthew has been a steady source of emotional support for Brian over the past several years and is a vital part of his story.

Matthew Bryan

Hunter (aka “Big Jimbo”) is one of Brian’s closest friends. They’ve been friends since high school, sharing late nights fishing and cracking jokes. In every monumental moment, Jimbo has been in Brian’s corner—and he’ll be there on the big day.

Kayla is Alexandra’s cousin and a longtime partner in fun. Often called “Kay Kay,” she combines a fierce competitive streak—she gives everything her all in any sport—with a big, loyal heart. Kayla’s love of all things purple and her affection for pugs make her uniquely herself, and Alexandra can’t imagine the day without her smiling in the crowd.

Ayden (aka “Bambi”) is one of Brian’s closest friends; they met in high school. Don’t be fooled by Ayden’s quiet nature—he’s always capable of something unexpected. He may be smiling on this wonderful day, but secretly he wishes he were the one in the white dress.

Pictures are provided for clarity! </p><p>Men: jeans are ok but they need to be nice. Leave your work pants at home. Button downs or polos are fine. You are welcome to wear a sports jacket but it isn’t necessary! If you are concerned about your fit feel free to ask the bride! Pictures are provided for clarity!</p>
