It all began at Uno Chicago Bar and Grill where Tom and Alex worked together. A friendship that started with a playful game of tag. Yes, the game of "Tag you're it!". The friendship they started outside of work eventually blossomed into something deeper. From spontaneous adventures to quiet nights in, they built a stronger love than anything they could have imagined.

When the time was right, Tom chose their favorite vacation spot, OCMD, to pop the question. The pier was one of Alex's favorite places because you can overlook the boardwalk and look far out into the ocean—the perfect spot to watch the sunset. On the pier, they put a lock with their initials and the date. Alex thought it was just a normal day, but little did she know this moment was going to change her life forever. Alex turned around and saw Tom on one knee asking the most important question of his life. She yelled "YES!" and the rest was history!
