Our Wedding

It all began with a friend request. Nick’s Instagram bio said “Caroga Lake,” which caught Alex’s eye.A few months later, Nick sent a message, but it took a little while before Alex replied. Once we started talking, we realized we both spent our summers on Caroga Lake at camps just one avenue apart. Nick had actually been trying to figure out who “the girl in the hammock” was for a few summers.When we finally met at the association beach, it felt instantly familiar.. like something that had been waiting to happen. From lakeside summers to everyday adventures, Caroga Lake will always be where our story began.

As for where to stay it’s totally up to you! Whether you book a room at the Lighthouse Inn, crash at the Blue Water Resort, or find a cozy spot nearby, choose whatever feels right. We’re just excited to have you with us for the celebration!

If you have ever traveled to the Cape beforeyou know why they say Call me when you get to the bridge. We love the Cape but let’s be real, the traffic is almost as famous as the beaches. If you're coming the day of the wedding, do what every seasoned Cape-goer knows: cross the bridges early. Like, before-Dunkin’-opens early.... (we try to cross before 10:30am in the summer) Yes, the wedding is early in the season, but that doesn’t always stop a caravan of cars from inching along Route 6 like it’s a parade. Bonus points if you spot someone eating a Dunkin’ sandwich, applying sunscreen, and yelling at Waze.. all at the same time.So give yourself extra time, enjoy the scenery, and maybe bring a Del’s or a box of Munchkins for the ride. RECEPTION FUN!

Wedding attire - formal! We’d love to see everyone dressed up in formal attire (suits and dresses)! Feel free to wear a suit, dress, or chic pantsuit—whatever makes you feel confident and fabulous. Think elegant with a splash of coastal charm—but don’t forget a layer! The ceremony will be held outside, and Cape Cod evenings can get breezy once the sun starts to set.
