We met in summer of 2017; first at a music festival in Chicago and again at my 30th birthday party a few weeks later. It wasn’t until after we realized we grew up only a short drive away from one another; Chandler in Barrington and me in Hoffman Estates. Not only that, but Chandler’s wrestling coach and mentor all through high school happens to be one of my cousins. It was a fast track to love - after only 2 weeks, I joined Chandler in Denver for one of his oldest friend’s weddings, and another few weeks after that we got our first dog together-our sweet boy Clutch. The following year, Chandler and Clutch made the move from the burbs to downtown to join me and my kitties in Chicago. We’ve since been to countless music festivals, family and friends’ weddings, vacations, and spent as much time as possible slack-lining on Lake Shore Drive in the summers. In the fall of 2020, we moved to Arizona to be closer to Chandler’s daughters and for job opportunities. We adopted another sweet boy to the family, Mr Gibson, last year. On Christmas Day this last year on our holiday cruise, Chandler gave me the biggest surprise of all by proposing! It was absolutely perfect and we got to celebrate the entire week with family. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all in Sedona next year and for all that’s to come!
