It all started with a comment on a photo, quickly followed by an ice cream date on a cold January day. Somehow despite John eating the weird combination of bubblegum ice cream with crushed Oreo's and Alex awkwardly running off to catch an Uber before disappearing to work for two weeks, we didn't scare each other off.

Our relationship thrived with daily long texts with song recommendations and multiple gaming dates while Alex was away for work and as many fun date activities as we could fit in while she was home.

Fast forward over a year later and we've moved into an apartment together, got engaged, got a new kitten (much to Toast's annoyance), and now we're excited to start this new chapter of our lives with many more adventures!
