Alex and Josh met a long time ago. Like... a very long time ago. When Alex was 11 years old, her next door neighbor had a very funny, very cute, and very emo-punk 14 year old best friend named Josh. Alex was the weird little girl next door… and sometimes she still is! Alex and Josh were childhood buddies, then as life went on, they went to the same high school. In 2010 Josh joined the US Navy, and in 2011 Alex left for San Diego State University. Some years later in 2015, Alex and Josh unexpectedly reconnected and got to catch up on many missed years. In 2018, they started dating for reals… finally! On September 30th 2023, Josh proposed to Alex in Big Bear, California, on an anniversary trip which turned into the biggest reason to celebrate... UNTIL NOW!!!

Camp Richardson Beach Day! Spend the day with us relaxing at the beach, in the water, getting some sun, and renting water sports activities for the day after the big day. Papa Gray will have the Eliminator boat parked out front from Wednesday through the weekend for cruising Lake Tahoe The Camp Rich Marina has everything you need—from water play rentals and a fuel dock with pump-out facilities and boating supplies, to the best apparel, beach toys, beer selection, wine, and snacks on the lake. Rental options include Boats, WaveRunners, SeaDoos, Kayaks, Stand up Paddle Boards, Pedal Boats and more!

SATURDAY-SUNDAY

The celebrations will continue all weekend! The weekend will be spent playing on the beaches and enjoying all of our friends and family that traveled so far to spend this time with us, and we hope we get to see you all for the Tahoe trip of our dreams :) We will be cruising around soaking in the rest of the celebrations with drinks and food at at The Grove, Sunny Side, Chambers Landing. Come with cash for some gambling at South Shore Lake Tahoe at the casinos if you're feeling lucky We are so excited to celebrate with you!!!

Wedding Events

Enjoy cruising around the historical estate at the Valhalla, the beach, the doc, many cabins, the Historic Hotel, coffee shop, ice cream parlor, general store, and don't leave without getting a Rum Runner at the Beacon Bar and Grill!

South Lake Tahoe has an abundance of available lodging at the Casinos and (Harveys, HardRock, Bally, Harrah's, Golden Nugget) In addition, many affordable hotels are available along the 89 Emerald Bay Road highway and the 50 Lake Tahoe Blvd highway. These prices range from luxurious lodging to quaint cabin rooms.

Water Sport Rentals

Arrive in Emerald Bay, then take a guided tour of the world-famous, historic Vikingsholm Castle. This is a must-do activity for the entire family!

Our spectacular Lake Tahoe boat cruise departs several times daily in the summer months for a 1.5-hour cruise to Emerald Bay and back. Plenty of room for everyone, yet small enough to enjoy an intimate and unique view of Lake Tahoe and its shoreline.
