In the summer of 2021 two people who had no idea what they were looking for decided to download Bumble. One was a California transplant that had just graduated undergraduate school and had no idea what the next year of her life was going to bring her. The other, a Kentucky native that loved baseball and was working hard to make a life for himself.&nbsp; The start of their journey began with two simple words - "Hello handsome" and from that moment an invisible string would pull them together. If you asked Alexandra in the beginning, she would have told you that Aaron was not interested because she asked him out on a date to a Cincinnati Reds game and he did not go. However the day after the game Aaron messaged her and theyscheduled their first date.&nbsp; On July 24, 2021 Aaron picked Alexandra up from her studio apartment in Lexington and they went and ate Goodfella’s Pizza. They talked for a bit as they ate and Aaron suggested they go a couple doors down and get ice cream at Crank and Boom. After getting their ice cream they sat in the ice cream shop and talked for several hours. It was so unbelievably natural for the two of them that when it was time to go neither of them wanted the day to end. After that first weekend, almost every weekend after the two of them spent it together. &nbsp;By October of that same year Alexandra had moved out of her Lexington apartment and into Aaron’s Winchester home. What would follow this would be the most adventurous two years of the couple’s life. In those two years they would get on more airplanes than Aaron had been on in his entire life going from California, to Disney World and everywhere in between. However, if you asked them their best memories were spending time at home with their puppies Raina and Winston and their kitty Bellatrix (before Cheddar came along of course).&nbsp; When it came time for Alexandra to move down to school in August of 2022 it was a hard transition and an emotional one for the both of them. That person they were so used to seeing everyday was no longer going to be there and it would be weeks at a time before they would see each other. Alexandra and Aaron worked hard at their relationship through that year; carving out times that they could get on facetime and figuring out the best weekends that they could visit one another. &nbsp;Then on October 29, 2023 all the things that Alexandra was hoping for became reality. In the middle of Central Park in the pouring rain, with the most beautiful castle backdrop, Aaron asked Alexandra to be his wife. There were tears and laughter and smiles from our families and it was the most perfect day imaginable.&nbsp; They cannot wait to celebrate this love story with all their friends and family in 2023.&nbsp;
