🕊️ What parts of the day am I invited to?
We would love for all our guests to join us for the wedding ceremony at Collier Street Church at 4:30 PM, and for the dance party and reception starting at 8:00 PM at the MacLaren Art Centre!
Please note: the cocktail hour, dinner, and speeches (5:15–7:45 PM) will be an intimate gathering with our immediate family only.
We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on the dance floor later that evening — it means the world to us to have you there!
Are children invited?
We warmly welcome children and infants to join us for the ceremony at the church! However, we kindly request that the evening celebration remains adults-only. We adore your little ones, but hope you’ll enjoy a fun evening out!
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
We recommend arriving by 4:15 PM — the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please note: there’s another event earlier at the church, so parking will not be available until after 4:00 PM.
If I’m not part of the family dinner, do you have any suggestions for what to do or where to go before the evening celebration?
The wedding takes place in the heart of downtown Barrie, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, lively bars, and fun entertainment options. We recommend checking out Last Level Lounge for some games and a relaxed atmosphere, Donaleigh’s for drinks, and 147 or BeSpoke for an exceptional dining experience with delicious food!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
You're not suppose too... but let's break the rules! We’d love for you to take as many photos as you’d like — just make sure your phone is on silent. And don’t forget to share your pics with Alex and Jesse afterward — we can’t wait to see the day through your eyes!

👗 What is the dress code?
Our wedding is a formal celebration.
We’d love to see soft, romantic shades of pink — blush, rose, dusty or pastel tones — even just a hint in your outfit would mean a lot (especially to Alex!).
We're planning a glamorous evening — think classic elegance and celebratory sparkle! Suits/Tuxs and floor-length gowns are welcome, but a chic cocktail dress works beautifully too! When in doubt, dress up!
That said, please wear whatever makes you feel your best — your presence is what matters most.
Do you have a registry?
No. Your presence is truly the best gift we could ask for! We’re blessed to have everything we need, so instead of physical gifts, we’d be grateful for a monetary contribution toward creating a great celebration (and yes — helping pay for Alex’s wedding dress!).
Thank you for your love and support — we’re so excited to celebrate with you!
E-transfers can be sent to: 383codrington@gmail.com
How does the bar work?
We’ll have wine, beer and coolers available at the reception — and we’ll be covering the tab at the end of the night, so just come ready to celebrate! 🍸
Where should I park?
