Wedding FAQ

Do I need to RSVP?

If you have received a save the date for our wedding, you will also receive a formal invitation with a prompt to RSVP very soon! Please accept or decline your invitation by July 15th as we will need to give our vendors a head count in advance.

What should I wear?

We're asking our guests to dress "semi-formal." This can mean a lot of different things, so here are some details! Ladies might wear an at or below the knee dress or jumpsuit. An elegant blouse with pants or a skirt would also be appropriate. Gentlemen might wear dress pants with a button-down dress shirt. A suit jacket and tie would be appropriate but not required. If you feel like dressing up more (e.g., cocktail-style), go for it! We want everyone to feel comfortable, but if there's one day to dress up, this is it!

Anything I shouldn't wear?

In general, please avoid jeans, athletic clothes, shorts, mini dresses, and flip flops. Ladies, please avoid wearing white. And of course, come ready to dance!

Can my kids attend?

Your online RSVP will indicate who is included in the invitation. We are very excited to celebrate with our closest little friends and family! However, we would like our ceremony to be distraction free - for our sake and yours! We have arranged on-site childcare for children under the age of six to stay during the ceremony (roughly 30 minutes). Parents are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early so they may drop off their children in the care of ladies we have carefully picked and trust! Parents will pick up their children at the start of cocktail hour to join in the rest of the fun. When it comes time to RSVP, please respond appropriately if your children will be in attendance. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Should I expect to be outside or inside?

Both, but mostly inside! Our ceremony will take place inside. After we are announced husband and wife (and we all have a moment to celebrate!!), all guests will make their way outside to a covered open-air outdoor space for cocktail hour. This is when the event staff will take about an hour to prep the room for our reception. Once that is complete, everyone will make their way inside for dinner & dancing!

When should I arrive?

Our ceremony time is TBD. We will update that information soon! On the day of our wedding, guests should arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to allow time for parking and seating. Due to when our venue is available, please do not enter the ceremony space more than 30 minutes early.

Where should I park?

There is a parking lot across the street from our venue. There will be an event parking sign directing you to the right place.

Can I take photos... during the ceremony?

No thank you! We are requesting all guests remain unplugged during the ceremony, with ALL cameras & phones silenced and placed out of sight until cocktail hour begins. We are confident our photographers will document each and every moment authentically. We're inviting each of you to sit back, relax, and stay present for each intentional moment of our ceremony. Not to worry, we are so excited to share our ceremony photos with everyone when they are ready for us!

Can I take photos... during the reception?

As long as you share them with us later, GO WILD! We would love to see the intimate moments you capture. Bonus points for videos!

Will there be a bar?

Yes, we will have an open bar for our guests during cocktail hour and dinner. A variety of beer, wine, and soda will be served, as well as coffee and water. We want all our guests to have a fun and safe evening (and drive home), so please drink responsibly!

Will there be a send-off?

Yes! There will be an announcement at the end of the night for all guests to make their way outside to send-off the newlyweds. And then it'll be time to go home!
