<p>On June 25th, 2014, our paths crossed in a way that felt like fate. Anthony and I unexpectedly met at a party that neither of us planned on being at, yet we have the party to thank for bring us into each other lives. We took it slow, spending time getting to know each other, going on so many dates and experiencing a lot of first together and slowly became best friends. On August 5th, 2015, we knew we were more than friends, and officially began our journey together. Crazy enough, we'd walked the same high school halls and shared a mutual best friend but Anthony and I had never met, proving that the universe was waiting for the perfect time for us to come into each others lives. After I graduated form CU Boulder, Anthony and I made the best decision we ever could have made. On July 15, 2016, we welcomed Finley Rose, who immediately stole our hearts, into our lives. Finley made us a family. We got to experience so many fun memories with Finley, she was truly the best dog anyone could ever ask for. Her boundless love and joy tied us together in a way we'll forever cherish, and we loved her more than words can say. As Anthony and I continued through our 20s together, we continued to check off so many more firsts together. From getting our first place together and traveling, and experiencing all life had to offer, we created so many beautiful memories in our time together. However, we still felt like something was missing. On May 29, 2021, we brought Oakley home and he has since filled our home with even more laughter and love than we could’ve imagined. We had so much fun being a family of four and Oakley and Finley were inseparable. Little did we know that in April 2024 out lives would change forever, when we lost our Finley Rose. That is the day that we lost a piece of our hearts that will always hold a special place for our angel. That summer we were a family of three and Oakley just wasn’t our same little guy, so we decided to wait for a sign that it was the right time to grow our family again. Randomly,&nbsp;our breeder reached out about an available litter that was due the first week of August, which was our 9 year anniversary. Though Anthony and I made an appointment to look, we decided not to bring a puppy home yet. I had no idea what was coming. On August 9th, 2024, Anthony took me to Piney River Ranch in Vail, our favorite summer spot. I thought it was just a trip to our special place, but Anthony had planned so much more. He walked me down to a little spot, with the most gorgeous view of the mountains, got down on one knee and proposed. As if that wasn't enough, my mom came running down the hill right after, with a golden retriever puppy-Rosie, followed by the rest of my family and a photographer to capture the whole entire thing. Anthony had surprised me not only with an engagement but with Rosie, who instantly stole Oakley's heart and ours. That day, our family grew in every way, and it became one of the best day of our lives. To top it off, Anthony surprised me that night with an engagement party filled with so many of our friends and loved ones.&nbsp;Anthony and I truly have grown to be best friends and enjoy doing so much together. Whether we're laughing our way through a competitive round of card games, hitting the golf course, or exploring our favorite travel destinations, we find joy in every shared adventure, big or small. What binds us even deeper is our shared value of family and loved ones, who mean the world to us. This alignment has woven us into inseparable companions, creating a lifetime of memories built on love, laughter, and the comfort of knowing we're always on the same team. As we prepare to elope on August 5th, exactly ten years from the day we began dating, we're thrilled to start this new chapter. Here's to growing our family, chasing new dreams, and loving each other through every moment life brings.</p>
