The Newport Cliff Walk is world famous as a public access walk that combines the natural beauty of Newport's shoreline with the architectural history of the city's Gilded Age. The best starting points are at either Easton's Beach or behind the Breakers. Look for Brandon's favorite surfing spot, Ruggles, along the way!
Our favorite beach! The Snack Shack has excellent lobster rolls.
While a little bit of a drive from Newport (15-20 minutes), the private collection of 100+ automobiles at the Newport Car Museum focuses on eight decades of modern industrial automotive design and celebrates cars as works of art. Brandon's top choice!
One of five national wildlife refuges in Rhode Island, Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is home to 242 acres. Situated on the coast overlooking the ocean, a hike at Sachuest Point is relatively flat and easy, and offers scenic views without having to climb. Look for deer, bunnies, racoons, and seals along the way. Alex's favorite place!
Come sailing in Newport, Rhode Island, the sailing capital of the world! Former home of the America's Cup races, the sailing in Newport is considered by many to be the best anywhere!
And with one of the prettiest harbors in the country, the sightseeing in Newport is spectacular! Sail by beautiful harbor-side estates, world famous yachts, iconic islands and many other sights, all set against a rocky shoreline and historic town.
